Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration – PS4 Pro Tech Video

Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration – PS4 Pro Tech Video

Are you planning to get PlayStation 4 PRO? If you do, and you are also getting the Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration edition, plus that you own a 4K TV, better check this out of how PlayStation 4 PRO benefits the game.

Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration edition offers a few enhancement options for PlayStation PRO owners, such as 4K resolution (although not natively), High Frame rate, and Enriched Visuals. The game allows players to customize their preferences while playing the game.

4K resolution setting will enhance the the overall visual texture details, effects, specular highlights, and performance of 30 frames-per-second. If you prefer performance over visual, you can select the High Frame Rate mode to play in solid 60 frames-per-second in 1080p resolution, which give you a smoother and tighter control. Lastly the Enriched Visual mode, which the game will runs in 1080p and 30 frames-per-second, and use the remain power to enhance overall graphic quality.

Other enhancement running the game on PlayStation 4 PRO like hardware tessellation, anisotropic filtering, additional dynamic foliage, increase level of detail in game environment, soft sun shadow, improved depth of field, and Lara’s detail silky smooth hair.

It seems that we can’t enjoy all the goodies on the same plate, which shows that the new hardware is still not a truely 4K power house, sacrifice to compensate is still required. However Crystal Dynamics has done a good job by offering options to enjoy the game.

Resident Evil VII: Biohazard – More Teasers

New Resident Evil VII: Biohazard Teasers revealed by Capcom for this Halloween.

“Immortal” shows Jack from the Baker family attacked Ethan (you) and then was shot by Ethan (you) to death, after a short while Jack came back to life again. Does this mean that Jack is kinda like the Nemesis from Resident Evil 3? Keep coming back to life to hunt the player through out the game?

“A Closer Look” shows item interaction without accessing the inventory screen, why don’t they include both hands interacting with the item, instead of using “telekinesis power” to do so.

“Imagination” shows some puzzle solving session using the correct shape (spider) to create the shadow silhouette to match the painting on the wall.

Three more months to go until the release on 24 January 2017 for PlayStation 4 (optional PSVR support), Xbox One, and Windows PC.
